We just can’t get past our love affair with the V-42 Stiletto.
It embodies so much meaning, so much history, and creates so much admiration within us for the members of the First Special Service Force (FSSF).
For us knife collectors, combine the valiant and successful service of the men who carried it with the impeccable workmanship of the Case associates who crafted it, then add in the context of this knife in history and it’s a piece that gives one pause on so many levels.
And after the pause….what we take away is a gratefulness for the service of these and all other U.S. veterans…who’ve defended the “land of the free and the home of the brave” And yes, proud, proud to be an American.
