With the first of May now on us, that means the start of another intriguing auction.
This one’s got quite the selection, between such items as a Red Stag Damascus Tiny Toothpick, an Abalone Mini Moose, and a Confederate Army shield Gray Bone Slimline Trapper, there’s something for everyone. But I think the show stealer is clearly (a literal!) one of a kind item.
Linda Karst Stone, one of the best scrimshaw artists in the business and frequent collaborator with W.R Case and Sons Cutlery, has brought forth from her creative mind another new gem, this time a one of one knife in a Teardrop style. Upon the Natural Bone handle is a depiction of a picturesque bluebonnet arrangement with a bee, done in the delicate, realist style she’s mastered over the years.
Be sure to take a look at it to see what the buzz is all about! The auction ends on the 7th, so time’s already short.
